OKC for Soccer is a community-driven project to bring professional soccer back to Oklahoma City.
We believe the city has the passion, culture, and ambition to support men's and women's teams that compete at a high level while remaining deeply rooted in the local community.
OKC for Soccer is dedicated to building a professional soccer club that truly reflects and represents our city — dynamic, ambitious, and diverse.
We envision a club that is more than a team. It’s a community institution.
On the field, we want to compete for trophies. Off the field, we want to support the people of OKC, invest in our community, and deliver on opportunities to improve lives throughout our city and region.
We are committed to having a lasting impact by building a club that gives our community a shared pride, new economic opportunities, and an unmatched fan experience that celebrates both the world's game and our local culture.
1) Grow the Movement: Building on the previous work of OKC Energy FC, we are growing a new, true soccer movement in OKC. We are engaging fans, from hardcore supporters to new fans, listening to the needs of our community, gathering feedback and giving local stakeholders a real voice in the club's development.
2) Create Community Connections: We are building a coalition of local, regional. and national partners to secure the sustainability and viability of our club. This includes key investors, such as NBA superstar Russell Westbrook and the Chickasaw Nation, and multiple advisory panels.
3) Invest in Our City: In partnership with the city, we are developing a new home for soccer fans in OKC. The MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium, which has received foundational public investment, will serve as the club's home venue and the centerpiece of a new sports-anchored entertainment district in downtown OKC.
4) Build the Brand: We are developing a wholly new brand, including a new name, crest, and colors that reflect and represent the people and the culture of our dynamic and diverse city.
5) Compete at the Highest Level: Our professional men's team will compete in the USL Championship, the United Soccer League's highest level. We will always endeavor to field a competitive team that upholds the values and standards of our club and our fans. We are still determining the best opportunity for our women's team.
Everything we do begins with the community. From youth development to matchday experiences, we will center the needs and voices of fans, local businesses, and civic partners. Your support — whether signing up for updates, attending events, or sharing your story — helps shape the future of soccer in OKC.
The majority owner of OKC for Soccer is Echo Soccer, an investment company owned by prominent local businessman Christian Kanady. Other investors include NBA superstar Russell Westbrook and the Chickasaw Nation, as well as local leaders Tim McLaughlin and Donna Bartley.
Our front office is led by longtime international sports executive and Oklahoma native Court Jeske. Jeske has spent more than two decades in American professional soccer, including Major League Soccer, the United Soccer League, and Nashville SC, where he served as the founding CEO and minority owner. At OKC for Soccer, he is supported by a roster of accomplished soccer industry veterans across commercial development, operations, marketing, communications, and fan engagement.
In addition, we are proud to receive support from two diverse advisory groups: the OKC for Soccer Committee, a body of local civic, business, and cultural leaders; and the OKC for Soccer Community Council, which provides fans with a voice in the club's development.
