Recently, Energy FC teamed with Infant Crisis Services to help their first ever Spring Health Festival.  The event was held at the organization’s headquarters in Oklahoma City for two hours allowing kids to participate in healthy and fun activities including a “soccer station” with Energy FC defender Coady Andrews.

“It is always great to get out into the community and share the game of soccer with these kids.  I hope that I can make a difference and inspire them while kicking around a soccer ball and sharing my love for the sport,” Andrews said.

Infant Crisis Services is a local nonprofit first started in 1984 by current Executive Director and Co-Founder Miki Farris.  Since then the organization has provided basic necessities such as formula, food, diapers, and clothing to babies and toddlers from birth to 48 months.

“Overall, the last 34 years we are thankful to provide and assist parents that struggle to provide necessary essentials for their little ones.  Our success however would not be possible without the help from our amazing community such as the OKC Energy FC and other local organizations present here at today’s event and throughout our existence,” says Farris.

Energy FC continue to strive to be a positive impact in the community off the pitch at numerous events throughout the year.
