On April 17, 2018, the SW 29th District Association, Inc. and Energy FC formalized their mutual support with a community partnership, which includes a substantial donation from the club to the organization.  The announcement is one of several recent positive developments for the district and the reemerging south Oklahoma City community.  In addition to the donation, Energy FC will be collaborating with the over 200 merchants on SW 29th Street to give them added marketing exposure through its influential brand. Energy FC will also be boosting the District’s year-round community and merchant events through additional advertising and program elements that promote fitness and healthful lifestyles.

“This is a landmark relationship for us and the Latino community that supports La 29.  There is amazing value in aligning our corridor and our merchants with the Energy FC brand.” said Chip Oppenheim, Board President and Owner of Economy Square, the largest shopping center in the district.

“We are proud to partner with SW 29th District Association.  Supporting their events and having our logo throughout this commercial corridor is a strong branding opportunity for our club and it fits nicely with our goal to include everyone in the city as part of Energy FC.” Said Jeff Kretchmar, VP of Marketing and Sales at Energy FC.

The SW 29th District Association, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization which actively seeks to establish a collective voice for the interests in the SW 29th Street business district area, develop goals and implement programs for better community and commerce.
