Tulsa Roughnecks news and notes

Current record: 8-9-2, 26pts

Tulsa Roughnecks come in to the derby following a 2-1 win over Saint Louis in the second match of their home stand.

Jorge Luis Corrales scored the opener in the 25th minute with a stunner, before Joey Calistri added the second with 20 minutes to play.

That win continued a strong recent run for the Roughnecks who have lost just one match of their last seven, and have managed to win seven home matches so far this year.

OKC Energy FC news and notes

Current record: 8-8-5, 29pts

OKC Energy is coming in to this match off an impressive win, as they stunned Real Monarchs with a 2-0 win on Saturday.

Both goals on that occasion were scored by Alex Dixon, earning him a USL Team of the Week nod along with defender Kyle Hyland, who had a big contribution in OKC keeping a clean sheet in the match.

It could have been even better for the Energy if not for Andy Craven failing to score from the spot, forcing OKC Energy to settle for the 2-0 win.

That result kept the undefeated streak going for OKC, coming in to this game five games without a loss.

This will be the second black gold derby of the year with Tulsa winning the first, in Oklahoma City 2-1.
