OKC for Soccer is dedicated to building a club for all of OKC and creating platforms that celebrate and support our community.
Today, in honor of club owner Christian Kanady’s being named Honorary Chair of the Latino Community Development Agency’s 34th Annual Awards & Recognition Luncheon, we raised a new flag on the future site of the MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium.
The flag, which reads OKC ES FÚTBOL, will fly over our city for the next few months.
Establishing a new club tradition: OKC for Soccer first raised a flag on the stadium site in February, and now we will turn flag-raising into a tradition for our club.
Going forward, we will hold regular flag-raising events to highlight people, organizations, and initiatives that are having a positive impact on our club, our community, and our city.
We’re building a club that reflects the spirit, diversity, and pride of Oklahoma City. This tradition of raising flags will be our way of celebrating and supporting the incredible work happening across our city. We’re proud to begin that journey today.
