The sides were playing a cagey match up until the 40th minute when the flood gates opened for the hosts. Aaron Gomez and Macauley King each scored a brace in an eight-minute span before halftime to turn the game on its head.
The OKC defense steadied things after the break, holding El Paso scoreless in the second half, but the OKC attack wasn’t able to find the back of the net.
The Greens finish the 2021 season next Saturday, October 30 at ONEOK Field against FC Tulsa at 7:00 p.m. with the winner taking home the Wrench.
