Annual celebration of inclusion for all to feature matchday activations as well as special merchandise and ticket offer with proceeds benefitting the OKC Pride Alliance.

OKLAHOMA CITY – As Pride Month gets underway, Energy FC is excited to once again join the celebrations. This year’s annual Pride Night will be held on Saturday, June 12 when the Greens face Birmingham Legion FC at Taft Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

“Pride Month and the celebrations surrounding it are extremely important to Energy FC because it is extremely important to Oklahoma City,” said Director of Marketing and Communications Billy Walton. “We want everyone in the city to know that Energy FC matches are a safe and inclusive place for all. We are challenging ourselves as an organization and as citizens of Oklahoma City to make sure that we are sending that message year-round.

“Pride Month and our Pride Match allow us to celebrate and promote the 2SLGBTQ+ community specifically and help elevate their message. We are excited to work with the Oklahoma City Pride Alliance and continue this tradition for Pride Month in OKC.”

Tickets for Pride Night can be purchased at energyfctix.com/pride with $2 from each going directly to the OKC Pride Alliance. In addition, Energy FC Pride shirts and scarves have been created with 20% of proceeds also benefitting the OKC Pride Alliance.

Matchday celebrations will include a special rendition of the national anthem, Pride-themed décor, rainbow smoke bombs for the supporters and more from our 2SLGBTQ+ Supporters Group, Main Street Greens. The club will also participate in OKC Pride Fest on June 25, 26 and 27.
