Veteran USL Championship enforcer becomes 11th player on roster for 2021.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Energy FC has signed veteran USL Championship midfielder Seth Moses, pending federation approval, Head Coach John Pascarella announced today. Moses made 11 appearances for USL side Las Vegas Lights FC in 2020, finishing first on the team in passing accuracy with 84.7%.

“Seth is a guy we tried to sign this time last year,” said Pascarella. “When I took over the team, he was one of our targets in central midfield. We offered him a contract, and while he had it sitting in front of him, he broke his foot. Kudos to him, because he called us immediately, which kept us from executing that contract. He got healthy again and played for Vegas last year, and we could see that he would make us better in that part of the field.

“Seth is a classic number eight in my opinion. He’s a guy that plays box-to-box. He’s good on the ball, he can link the lines, and he’s also physically an animal.”

Prior to Moses’ time in Vegas, the 27-year-old Baltimore, Md. native played in a combined 61 matches with USL Championship clubs Fresno FC, Indy Eleven and Orange County SC. Additionally, he played overseas for Rheindorf Altach of the Austrian Bundesliga, USV Eschen/Mauren of the Swiss Football League and South Korea’s FC Anyang.

Moses joins goalkeepers CJ Cochran and Kyle Ihn, defenders Zach Ellis-Hayden, Atiba Harris and Mitch Osmond, midfielders Arun Basuljevic and Brad Dunwell, and forwards Jaime Chavez, Frank Lopez and Tucker Stephenson as the players currently under contract for OKC in 2021.

Energy FC begins its eighth season in 2021 with a schedule announcement forthcoming. More information regarding Season Seat Memberships and Group Experiences can be found at energyfc.com/tickets.
