OKLAHOMA CITY – Energy FC is excited to finally reveal the 2020 primary and secondary kits. The primary, a return to the club’s original look of wearing green at home, will be worn with green shorts and green socks. The secondary includes a white shirt with matching shorts and socks.

“We always knew we wanted to go back to green, and we wanted to make sure the fans had a say in what the jerseys look like,” said Jeff Kretchmar, Energy FC Chief Operating Officer. “In addition to several other activations this year, we polled our supporters to get their feedback on the 2020 jersey options. The striped design used for the primary kit was voted as the number one choice, while the solid shirt with patterned sleeves came in second.”

Similar to the OKC Memorial kit, these shirts will also feature special decorations on the yoke above the player’s name, with the primary shirt featuring the club and state motto “Labor Omnia Vincit” and the secondary featuring the new logo for the state of Oklahoma.

The new jerseys are already popular among the players as well.

“I love them all, but the green is iconic,” said Arun Basuljevic, Energy FC midfielder. “When you see the green, you immediately think of OKC Energy. And they feel great. They are probably my favorite kits I’ve ever worn.”

“All the kits are sharp, but it’s nice to bring the green back finally,” said Kyle Hyland, Energy FC defender. “The home shirt looks great with the bit of blue and the stripes, but the white might actually be my favorite. I’ve worn a lot of kits in my six years in OKC and they keep getting better.”

The new jerseys are available for purchase at shop.energyfc.com and will be on full display in the near future with the USL announcing a provisional return to play on July 11. Additional information such as competition format, scheduling, other important details will be made available in the coming weeks.
