USL eCup Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 2

Micah Smith (BHM) – There might have been a bit of the luck of the Irish on Smith’s delivery into the penalty area, but there was no mistaking the quality of the volleyed finish that found the back of the net.

Josh Snodgrass (OKC) – Looking to put the game away late, Snodgrass broke down the right side and delivered an inch-perfect cross that was cushioned home into the bottom-right corner of the net.

Kyle Morton (STL) – A brilliant heel-flick pass set up a crucial late chance to claim a winner and Morton duly obliged with a rifled finish that sent France ahead against England for good to open the week.

Giovannay Canas (GVL) – Canas worked a beautiful give-and-go with his front two players, with the return cross to the right side of the penalty area picking out a solitary Robert Lewandowski for a clinical finish.

Edwin Moreno (ELP) – A cheeky chipped cross over the head of the advancing goalkeeper and into the path of a surging teammate was part of an emphatic victory that saw Locomotive FC earn promotion to Division A.
