Over the past week, three Energy FC players featured significantly for their respective national teams in Concacaf Nations League play.

Josh Garcia started, played 63 minutes and scored his first national team goal in the Dominican Republic's 2-1 loss to Montserrat on September 7. The DR bounced back to defeat El Salvador 1-0 on September 10. Garcia was an unused substitute in that fixture.

The Dominican Republic sits in third place in League B's Group B with three points -- level with Montserrat and El Salvador but trailing on goal difference.

Alvin Jones was a 71st minute substitute in Trinidad and Tobago's 1-1 draw with Martinique on September 6. Jones went on to play all 90 minutes in the Soca Warriors' 2-2 draw in the return fixture against Martinique on September 9.

Trinidad and Tobago is currently second in League A's Group C, level on points with leaders Martinique but trailing on away goals scored.

Je-Vaughn Watson started and played 61 minutes in Jamaica's 6-0 thrashing of Antigua and Barbuda on September 6. Watson then played all 90 minutes in the Reggae Boyz' second match -- a 4-0 win over Guyana.

Jamaica tops League B's Group C with the maximum 6 points.

Energy FC have had nine players earn national team call-ups while with the club. In addition to Garcia, Jones and Watson, Cordell Cato (Trinidad and Tobago), Coy Craft (U.S. U-20 team), Atiba Harris (Saint Kitts & Nevis), Cody Laurendi (Puerto Rico), Jaime Siaj (Jordan) and Mekeil Williams (Trinidad and Tobago) have all received the honor.

Energy FC’s next match is on the road at San Antonio FC, Saturday September 14 at 7:30 p.m. CDT.
