International Greens: Trio of Energy FC Players Set to Begin Concacaf Nations League Play

Josh Garcia (Dominican Republic), Alvin Jones (Trinidad and Tobago) and Je-Vaughn Watson (Jamaica) have been called up to represent their respective national teams in upcoming Concacaf Nations League fixtures over the next week.

With three call-ups, Energy FC has the joint-most in the United Soccer League alongside North Carolina FC. In total, 27 players across the USL Championship and USL League One were called up to senior national teams for upcoming fixtures in September.

Upcoming fixtures featuring Energy FC players:

  • Friday, September 6
    • Martinique v Trinidad and Tobago, 5PM
    • Jamaica v Antigua & Barbuda, 7PM
  • Saturday, September 7
    • Montserrat v Dominican Republic, 2PM
  • Monday, September 9
    • Guyana v Jamaica, 6PM
    • Trinidad and Tobago v Martinique, 8PM
  • Tuesday, September 10
    • Dominican Republic v El Salvador, 5PM

Energy FC have had nine players earn national team call-ups while with the club. In addition to Garcia, Jones and Watson, Cordell Cato (Trinidad and Tobago), Coy Craft (U.S. U-20 team), Atiba Harris (Saint Kitts & Nevis), Cody Laurendi (Puerto Rico), Jaime Siaj (Jordan) and Mekeil Williams (Trinidad and Tobago) have all received the honor.
