After trailing at halftime, three second-half goals propel Greens into 7th place in Western Conference standings.

Portland took an early lead in the 4th minute, when Christian Ojeda whipped a ball into a dangerous area near the top of the six-yard box toward Foster Langsdorf. Langsdorf got onto the end of the cross, and headed the ball to teammate Gio Calixtro, who fired Timbers 2 in front.

Calixtro almost found a second in the 14th minute. Ojeda whipped in a corner that Calixtro flicked on goal, only to be denied by Cody Laurendi’s diving save.

In the 20th minute, Christian Eissele pegged back a goal to level the game. Eissele remained composed to finish off Callum Ross’s ball that released him behind the Portland defense.

In the 28th minute, the ball fell to Ojeda off a defensive clearance from OKC. Ojeda laid the ball off to Ryan Sierakowski, who connected on the first time volley to beat Laurendi at his far post.

The second half proved to be a different story for Energy FC.

Oklahoma City leveled the game for the second time in the 53rd minute when Mekeil Williams headed home Rafael Garcia’s corner kick.

Three minutes later, the Greens earned their first lead of the game. Omar Gordon carried the ball down the right flank and centered a ball for Eissele, who buried his second goal of the evening on a one-time finish.

Laurendi kept the visitors in front with another sure-handed save in the 69th minute. Ojeda created space at the top of the box and uncorked a powerful shot that Laurendi was able to deflect away from goal.

Energy FC punctuated their comeback victory in the 86th minute. Timbers 2 were unable to clear their lines after a corner, and eventually, Deshorn Brown broke free near the endline on the right side of the box. Brown centered a pass that was tapped in by Christian Ibeagha for OKC's third goal of the second half.

Energy FC return home next Saturday, August 24,  to host Austin Bold FC at 8 p.m. at Taft Stadium.
