Energy FC and defender Mike da Fonte have mutually agreed to terminate his contract, General Manager Jason Hawkins announced today.

“When we signed Mike, he expressed an interest in pursuing other opportunities in Europe, and we have decided to let him pursue those opportunities", said Hawkins. "Mike helped us get through a difficult period of the season while several players were away during the Gold Cup, and we greatly appreciate his efforts during his stint in OKC and wish him all the best in the future."
