ENERGY FC AND OKLAHOMA SOCCER ASSOCIATION ADD FOUR STAFF MEMBERS

The new positions allow for OSA to lay the foundation for coaches and players across the state to train and become the best they can be with the guidance Energy FC’s technical staff.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Energy FC, in partnership with the Oklahoma Soccer Association, announced the addition of four members to their technical staffs.  Energy FC named Matt Fansher Director of Coaching Education and Tommy Riley Director of Player Development.  OSA named Scott Parkinson and Adam Kenes as Assistant Directors of Coaching.

Fansher joins Energy FC with over 12 years of experience in coaching and development In this position, he is responsible for leading the operations and initiatives of the coaching education department and supporting continuous improvement of best practices in coaching education.  Fansher has previous experience with OSA, serving as the Director of Coaching Education and Player Development for seven years prior to becoming the General Manager of Soccer City.  Fansher has served on the Advisory Board of Energy FC since its inception in 2014.

Riley has extensive experience in the Oklahoma coaching landscape.  As head coach of the Heritage Hall boys team, he guided them to three state titles in a four-season stretch.  In addition to his work with Heritage Hall, he served as the head coach for the St. Gregory’s University women’s team and assistant coach for the men’s team.  His new role with Energy FC allows him to lead the operations for development of players across the state of Oklahoma.  He will work extensively with Energy FC and OSA to build development programs that ensure the progress of the player.

Parkinson and Kenes each join OSA as Assistant Directors of Coaching.  Parkinson has spent the last two seasons with Rogers State in Tulsa as an assistant coach for the men’s team and head coach for the women’s team.  He also served as an assistant at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.  Kenes has multiple years of coaching experience in the Tulsa area, including serving as an assistant for the Tulsa Revolution indoor team and director of coaching for Owasso Soccer.

“OSA is extremely excited with this groundbreaking partnership with Energy FC,” OSA Executive Director Sid Goodrich said.  “It has resulted in four great additions, which we know will help to advance our players and coaches and push our state to the forefront of soccer programs nationally.
