OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC Energy FC has acquired forward Wojciech Wojcik on a season-long loan from Indy Eleven, Energy FC General Manager Jason Hawkins announced today.

Wojcik comes to Energy FC from Indy Eleven of the NASL, where he appeared in a 1 game. Before joining Indy Eleven, Wojcik spent his first professional experience in Finland, where he scored twice for Ykkonen side Tampereen Ilves in 17 match appearances. He also recorded a goal during a two-game stint with Ilves-Kassat of the Finnish Third Division.

"I'm excited to be a part of the OKC Energy organization. I have heard great things about the club and the fans," Wojcik said. "It's a great opportunity to get better as a player, and more importantly to help out the team."

Following his senior season at Bradley University, Wojcik was invited to the Adidas MLS Combine, where he co-led the NCAA with 14 assists and six goals. His talent and stats put him en route to being named the Missouri Valley Conference’s Player of the Year.

“We are excited to get Woj in as an another attacking option for the team. He has a great frame on him and is effective both in hold up play and going forward.” Energy FC General Manager Jason Hawkins said. “He is a player that can serve as a complement to our other attacking options in the side.”

Energy FC will host Real Monarchs in a regular season match at historic Taft Stadium in Oklahoma City on May 24. Season Seat Holders tickets are available by contacting the Energy office at 235-KICK or visiting energyfc.com.
